Bernd Wollschlaeger, MD, FAAFP, FASAM is a board-certified family physician in private practice (North Miami Beach,FL). He received his medical training in Germany and Israel, completed his residency training at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, FL and served as a chief resident.
Since 1997 he is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Miami School of Medicine, and also trains medical students, Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners at Florida International, Florida State and Barry University.
He is a member of the American & Florida Academy of Family Physicians and American Medical Association and educates health care professionals about medical information technology applications.
He participated as a consultant in the EHR NOW project of the Florida Academy of Family Physicians and is currently serving as a Steering Committee of the South Florida Regional Extension Center.
Since October 1995 he edits a monthly medical information technology column in “Miami Medicine,” a publication of the Dade County Medical Association. |
